  5. try soaking the onions in warm water before you cut them (5-10 mins). it negates most of the effects of the onion, to stop you from crying

congrats on all awards and keep up good work. it was nice to know abt u.

i also enjoy makeup and dressing perfectly, the dress color, mk/u, jewellary , hairdo, sandals butttttt after i became a mom and mother of toddler boy, i can hardly give time.
just keeps a lipstick in purse. no regrets can catch up old habits soon.

i usually do cholle ur way but recently i learnt that if u blend the sauted onion tomato with all masala and add to chick peas and cook for 20 mnts, the taste really comes good like a professional. so i try doing this way.

also since u like so much about mk/u ,can u suggest suggest which brands, shades goes well with desi complexion in usa .
i use to luv lakmebrand shades in india, eye color/ blushes , lip colors. they blend so well with desi complexion.i wish i could buy them here in usa again but not available

    thx
    wishing u ramadan mubarak ahead

  10. rizruby, What a coincidence, I used to love lakme products in India. After coming to US I experimented with a lot of brands but in my opinion MAC is the best. Its mid-range price wise but they have amazing products especially for desi skin. Try there eye shadows in expensive pink, cranberry ,humid and goldmine. The have a unbelievable collection of lipsticks too. Although I love them and spend on them, it gets expensive sometimes. I also like loreal Hip products and Nyx products jab kadhki chal rahi ho to! :), Ramadan mubarak to you too!.

thanks for info. i shall try these brands and shades in future.i saw mac products in macys store recently .
i also agree .i like loreal products personaly especially their endless 12 hr lipstick is perfect for parties, lipcolor stays for really long time even after eating oily food. i feel revlon, covergirl shades are not good for desicomplexion.
i luv to color my nails with mehendi, i try occassionaly but the nailcolor does not come real dark.
do u know where i can get nail mehendi especially.

    thx
    take care
